Thomas Clinton Wilkins was never really successful as a farmer or business man, but he was well known for making very good sorghum molasses.
Wilkins Home in Lynn Grove, Calloway, KY Wilkins rented home known as the Pullen Place, southwest of Lynn Grove, Calloway, Kentucky. Afton Norvell Wilkins was born there.

Henry Lester Pullen Obituary This clipping was found in the Davis Dulaney Bible, in the possession of his granddaughter, Lucetta Francis Hollowell Wilkins. The Thomas Clinton and Lucetta Francis Hollowell Wilkins family lived for a period of time at the "Pullen place". The Pullen home was owned by John Stanley Pullen. This is where Lee Julene was born; other children's birth places are unknown.
