    • It is family history that after the death of their parents Davis B. Dulaney and Mack Booker Dulaney went to live with their "uncle" Starling Gunn.
    • Mack Booker Dulaney and Mary Jane Sheridan Dulaney provided one acre of land for the Dulaney school.
    • Mack Booker Dulaney co-owned a general store with Edward Robinson Cook. They also bought and sold land together. The business was called Cook and Dulaney. The store operated from around 1858 until at least 1862. Edward Robinson Cook died on 25 Dec 1862. In 1868 Mack Booker Dulaney bought out the remaining property owned by Cook and Dulaney from Edward Robinson Cook's widow, Selinah Catherine Hawpe Cook.
