Gender Male Died Between 1850 and 1856 Todd County, Kentucky Notes - Many researchers state that Hugh Bonar Wilkins Jr. married Arina Counts and that they migrated to Dent County, Missouri. This is not correct. It clearly states on the marriage record of Sarah Ann Dodd Wilkins and Monroe L. Shelton that Sarah Ann Dodd Wilkins was a widow. Hugh N. Wilkins also states on his Civil War Certificate of Disability that he was born in 1825 in Livingston County, Kentucky. Hugh Bonar Wilkins Jr. was born in 1829 in Christian County, Kentucky. Hugh Bonar Wilkins Jr. and Sarah Ann Dodd Wilkins are living in Todd County, Kentucky on the 1850 census, and Hugh N. Wilkins is living in Crawford County, Missouri on the 1850 census.
